A quick update because I have been at a loss as to what to say recently. Life has been hard and messy and trying to find the glimmer moments in the stress has been, well, damn near impossible. But there has been a really incredible passion project I was asked to help create and it launched yesterday with our one-on-one sit downs and today is the official first day!
We took a note from the 75 Hard Challenge and made it 60 days with a few more rules to pick from (and a little more grace for missteps). While it encourages folks to make habit changes by selecting from a list of “rules”, it also accounts for the fact that LIFE IS LIFE. It also creates a strong sense of community and fosters asking for help when we need it. I think the best part is that we are all a part of the same gym and because of that, we already have somewhat established relationships with one another.
Like this website and all that I hope comes from it once I figure out the next steps, I want this challenge to stimulate personal growth. While I was able to be a part of the creative process for this challenge, I am also taking part in it! To know we are not alone or isolated in our hard times is a feeling I cannot even begin to describe and for this community of incredible humans, I am forever grateful.
